Kiefer Auction Supply was founded in 1980 by Kurt Kiefer, then a 25 year old auctioneer with a background in the graphic arts industry.  It moved to Fergus Falls, Minnesota in 1987 and been here ever since. It's headquarters is located in a 20,000 square foot building at 417 Stanton Avenue in downtown Fergus Falls.  We have a secondary location a few blocks away with an additional 22,000 square feet where we make banners and do the cutting of plastic and wood bid paddles and other specialty products. 

Kurt Kiefer is still President of the company and a well known national auctioneer and a Life Member of the National Auctioneers Association. He received the Auctioneers Hall of Fame award from the organization in 2015 in Dallas Texas.  He has served on the Board of Directors for the NAA for 10 years including 3 years as Director and 7 as Treasurer. He currently serves as Chairman of the NAA's Audit Committee, a position he has held since 2008.

Today the parent company is Kiefers.com, Inc. a multi-channel internet marketing company what specializes in niche' markets including Auction Supplies, Antique Dealer Supplies, Chandelier Parts and Vintage Fabric Trimmings.  The firm also owns Fargo Rubber Stamp Works, a 132 year-old  B-2-B  manufacturer of ad specialties and business products such as rubber stamps, signs, decals, award ribbons, etc. 

The combined firms product orders for tens of thousands of customers each year and prides itself on great customer service and quality products. The firm manufacturers most of the products it sells in its own facilities.  Many of the firms employees have been with the firm for decades.
