All self-stick products MAY take the finish off fine furniture. We recommend using a tag and putting the label on the tag. Furniture with a finish, especially old furniture, is very likely to lose some of the finish to a self-stick product.
The longer the label is on the more likely it is to remove finish. Our KAS-14-E is an "easy off" product and has a removable adhesive, but even that light adhesive can remove furniture finish. The "E" style is designed to remove in one piece where the KAS-14-S "Super Stick" or "S" label may well not come off in a single piece. This is designed to prevent label switching.
