Schaefer/Miles, a truly unique husband and wife painting team, began their successful collaboration in 1987 while on a painting expedition along the West coast of Florida. Their first collaboration was a mural for the Town and Country Hospital in Tampa, Florida. From the beginning the artists' differing styles meshed seamlessly. Their work has evolved to a richly woven tapestry of texture and color that allows viewers to become one with the work.
